EUUBC to Represent Sevastopol with EU Institutions Following a high level meeting that took place in Sevastopol on Saturday 28 February, the State Administration and the EU Ukraine Business Council signed a joint communique appointing the EUUBC to represent and promote the interests of Sevastopol with the EU Institutions.
The high level meeting took place in Sevastopol between Mr Kunitsyn the Head of the State Administration of Sevastopol and EU Ambassador Jose-Manuel Pinto Teixeira, accompanied by the ambassadors in Ukraine of the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Finland and Germany, to exchange ideas concerning the promotion of trade and  investment to boost job creation in Sevastopol and assist in the strategic diversification of the manufacturing base and provision of services in the regional economy.

The EUUBC is deeply appreciative of this great honour to be of assistance to Sevastopol and will act in the interests of the Sevastopol City State Administration to promote initiatives for the economic and social development of the region,  helping to produce a communications and lobbying strategy for Sevastopol with the EU institutions and potential investors.

Sevastopol presents a unique opportunity for investors in the areas of transportation, comminications, marine mechanical and environmental engineering, food processing and light manufacturing. With the finest deep water port facilities in the Black Sea Region, Sevastopol is well placed to benefit from the growth in trade that is expectd to follow from the conclusion later this year of a deep and comprehensive Free Trade Agreement between the EU and Ukraine.
